Fortunes Fortuna is designed as a lightweight website with server-side form handling and a required cookie acknowledgement banner. The banner exists so visitors see the site's storage boundary before using the site.

Essential Operation

When you accept the banner, the site stores a first-party acknowledgement named ff_cookie_ack for about 180 days. Browser localStorage may also store the same acknowledgement as a fallback. This storage is not used to identify you across other websites.

Attribution Fields

Some forms read URL parameters, same-site referrer paths, and external referrer domains in the browser and submit those fields with the form. This helps connect a request to the page or campaign that produced it.

Analytics And Marketing Cookies

No analytics cookie, retargeting pixel, or third-party advertising cookie is intentionally installed by the current public site. If this changes, the policy should be updated before those tools are used.
